After not using a mac full time for over 10 years, I finally decided it was time for a mentality shift. Microsoft’s Vista was the deciding factor. After trying to live with it for the past 2 months and the fact that my new PC didn’t have drivers for XP, I decided that I’d rather have a machine that “just worked”. So now that I have returned to Mac land, I have to say I’m impressed. Granted I’ve used Mac OS X on a Mac Mini for the past 3 years but I never really made it my permanent OS. I used it mainly for compatibility testing on Safari. Now I’m using it full time and loving it. It’s stable, and so far the only issue I found was when my HP printer decided to stop working yesterday which I blame on network issues. If you’re tired of Vista like I was, get yourself a mac. You won’t be disappointed.
